1. Introduction

Our website, https://www.eurovinil.it (hereinafter: “the website”) uses cookies and other related technologies (for convenience all technologies are called “cookies”). Cookies are also placed by third-party services used on the Website.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are text strings that websites (cd. Publisher, or “first parties”) visited by the user or different sites or web servers (so-called “third parties”) position and store – directly, in the case of publishers and indirectly, that is, through the latter, in the case of the “third parties” – within a terminal device in the availability of the user.
The information encoded in cookies may include personal data, such as an IP address, a user name, a unique identifier or an e-mail address, but may also contain non-personal data, such as language settings or information about the type of device a person is using to navigate the site.

Cookies can therefore perform important and different functions, including monitoring sessions, storing information on specific configurations regarding users accessing the server, facilitating the use of online content, etc. They can, for example, be used to keep track of items in an online shopping cart or information used to fill out a computer form.

If on the one hand it is through cookies that it is possible to allow, among other things, the web pages to load faster, as well as to route information on a network – in line with obligations strictly connected to the operations of the websites itself –, always through cookies it is also possible to convey behavioral advertising and then measure the effectiveness of the advertising message, or to conform the type and methods of the services rendered to the behavior of the user subject to previous observation.

3. Cookies

3.1 Technical or functional cookies
They are those used for the sole purpose of “transfering a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, also Privacy Code).

For the use of these cookies and other technical identifiers, the prior consent of users is not required, while the obligation to give the information pursuant to art. 13 of Regulation (EU) no. 2016/679, which the site manager can provide in the manner it deems most suitable remains.

Profiling cookies (statistics – marketing and tracking)

Used to lead back to specific, identified or identifiable subjects, specific actions or behavioral patterns recurrent in the use of the features offered (pattern) for the purpose of grouping the different profiles within homogeneous clusters of different breadth, so that it is possible to the owner, among other things, also modulate the provision of the service in an increasingly personalized way beyond what is strictly necessary for the provision of the service, as well as send targeted advertising messages in the network.

Due to the particular invasiveness that these cookies may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about the use of the same and thus express their valid consent.
