Each liferaft contains everything needed for activation and survival at sea, with equipment that varies depending on the flag and certification.
By way of example: CO₂ and nitrogen cylinder for inflation, automatic lights, water and single-portion rations, torch, paddles, rescue ring, bailer, and other safety equipment required by regulations.
Periodic servicing is essential: in addition to being legally required, it ensures that the liferaft will activate correctly in an emergency. Without regular maintenance, you risk penalties and, most importantly, the liferaft may not work when you really need it.
Each model has a different servicing interval depending on the flag state or approving authority; for example:
Models for Italy beyond 12 nautical miles require servicing every 24 months
Models for Italy within 12 nautical miles require the first service at 36 months and subsequent services every 24 months
The servicing interval is indicated on the liferaft identification card.
No, Eurovinil is the national service centre exclusively for EV Eurovinil liferafts.
Do you have a liferaft from another brand? You can trade it in for a new Eurovinil liferaft at a discounted price.

When you deliver the liferaft to the retailer, or when you send it to Eurovinil for servicing, we ask you to include, if available, the identification card.
If you send the liferaft to Eurovinil, please indicate the “SERVICE REQUEST” number on the liferaft or attach a printout of the confirmation email received after booking the service.
Please follow the two steps below:
Step 1
Pack the liferaft inside a box or wrap it in bubble wrap
If the liferaft has a Grab Bag, it is recommended to ship it together with the liferaft
If available, attach the Identification Card
Complete the collection request on the BARTOLINI website and ship the liferaft freight collect indicating that transport costs are charged to the recipient* (using subscription code 0990107) to:
Eurovinil s.r.l. – Via Genova, 5 – 58100 Grosseto
Alternatively, you can book the collection by contacting your local BARTOLINI branch and scheduling the pickup, specifying that the shipment must be sent freight collect (charged to the recipient*) and providing the subscription code 0990107
* The term “freight collect, charged to the recipient” means that the responsibility and payment of transport are borne by Eurovinil, which benefits from special services and rates. Transport costs will later be charged to the sender during invoicing.
Step 2
To facilitate the identification of the liferaft upon arrival and to provide instructions on the shipping address and payment method, we kindly ask you to complete the Service Request form.
You will receive an SMS and a confirmation email both when the servicing process starts at our facility and when the serviced liferaft is shipped back.
The cost varies depending on the Eurovinil self-inflating liferaft model.
You can immediately find out the exact price of your service by visiting service.eurovinil.it/zattera/consultazione-rapida and entering the liferaft serial number.
When booking the service on the dedicated website service.eurovinil.it, you can provide the shipping address, billing information, change requests, and any special notes or instructions.
Yes, it is possible to request changes to the address, payment terms, and the type of container.

Payment for the service can be made in different ways, depending on the delivery method and your preferences.
1) Payment on delivery (cash on delivery)
You can pay the courier directly when the liferaft is returned, using:

2) Bank transfer in advance
Alternatively, when booking the service on service.eurovinil.it in the Service Request section, you can choose payment via bank transfer in advance*.
3) Payment at our facility (direct pickup)
If you collect the liferaft at our headquarters, the following payment methods are available:

PagoBancomat
Visa or Mastercard credit card
Bank transfer in advance*
* If paying via bank transfer in advance, the service will start only after the transfer has been successfully credited in our system.
Servicing is the process during which the liferaft is checked in every detail: pressure tests, inspection and replacement of components, up to the container itself.
Replacing a liferaft that is still fully functional involves higher costs and generates special waste.
Eurovinil liferafts are designed to last over time: with periodic servicing, they maintain full functionality and help reduce environmental impact.
The difference only concerns the external container and the installation requirements on board.
In both cases, the liferaft inside is identical and protected by a robust vacuum-sealed bag.
Yes, Eurovinil offers a Trade-In/Scrapping service for both Eurovinil liferafts and liferafts from any other brand.

No. The current ISO 9650 regulation does not allow the contents of the equipment pack to be modified or supplemented.
In the past, the regulation required the manufacturer to declare product compliance, which made it possible to integrate additional equipment.
Today, liferafts must comply exactly with the approved configuration and cannot be modified afterwards.
1) Check the packaging upon delivery
When the courier delivers the liferaft, immediately check that the packaging is intact.
If the carton is dented, broken, partially open, or shows any anomalies, accept the shipment with reservation, writing on the courier’s delivery note:
“ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION OF INSPECTION – DAMAGED PACKAGING”.
The sealing tape must display the Eurovinil logo.
2) Inspection within 24 hours
Within 24 hours, open the package and check the integrity of the container:
If everything is compliant, the reservation will be automatically closed.
If you detect any damage, confirm the reservation with the courier and send us an email at info@eurovinil.it including:
Liferaft serial number
Reference document/invoice
Description of the damage
Product photos
Request for warranty repair
Even if the packaging is intact, you must check the liferaft within 24 hours; otherwise, warranty coverage for damages will not apply.
The only authorized service center to carry out the inspection and servicing of your Eurovinil recreational liferaft in Italy is Eurovinil S.r.l. in Grosseto.
Any servicing carried out by other companies is not valid under current regulations.
You can send the liferaft directly to our facility or entrust it to one of our collection centers, which will handle delivery to the service center and manage the required procedures.
For foreign countries, Eurovinil S.r.l. has a network of authorized service stations, trained to ensure compliant servicing.
