Carrying out regular liferaft servicing ensures that the device is always fully operational, ready for use, and compliant with nautical safety standards in every situation.

If you are in Italy, you can rely on one of our Collection Centres. Your liferaft will be sent to our Eurovinil s.r.l. headquarters, the only national centre authorised to carry out servicing.

Alternatively, select Drop it of yourself to ship the liferaft directly to our facility.

How to ship your liferaft

Step 1

    • Pack the liferaft inside a box or wrap it in bubble wrap
    • In the case of a raft with Grab Bag, we recommend shipping it together with the raft
    • If available, enclose the Identification Card
    • Fill in the collection request on the Bartolini website and ship the raft at the expense of the recipient* (using the subscription code 0990107) to Eurovinil s.r.l. - via Genova, 5 - 58100 Grosseto
    • Alternatively, you can book the pickup by contacting your local BARTOLINI branch and book the pickup specifying that the shipment must be freight collect (at the expense of the recipient*) by communicating the subscription code 0990107

* The wording "expense of the recipient" indicates that responsibility for and payment of shipping is borne by Eurovinil, which benefits from discounted services and rates. Shipping costs will be charged to the sender upon invoicing.

Step 2

To help us identify your raft upon arrival and provide instructions on shipping address and payment methods, we kindly ask you to complete the inspection request on the Service Portal.

Frequently asked questions

Within the FAQ section, you will find immediate answers to the most common questions related to our services, products and/or policies. We have collected our customers' most frequently asked questions and organised them in this section to make your experience easier and more straightforward.

Each model has a different servicing period according to the flag/body that issued the approval; for example, the model for Italy ABOVE 12 miles must undergo servicing every 12 months, the model for Italy WITHIN 12 miles must undergo servicing after 36 months and the subsequent ones at 24 months. On the other hand, the ISO9650-compliant model (foreign flags) has to undergo servicing every 36 months. The servicing frequency is indicated on the liferaft certificate.

The servicing process consists of a series of fundamental operations to ensure the maximum safety of your liferaft: overpressure and tightness test of the pneumatic part, check and replacement of the valves, periodic check, weighing and replacement of the tank, check of the equipment, check of the emergency equipment, replacement of expiring equipment, possible replacement of the container, as well as cleaning of the liferaft.

The only service station authorised to carry out the servicing of your Eurovinil leisure liferaft in Italy is the company Eurovinil S.r.l. in Grosseto.

Servicing carried out at other companies are not valid under current regulations.

In addition to sending it to the company directly, you can entrust your liferaft to our retailers, who will deliver it to the Eurovinil service station and handle the necessary paperwork.

For foreign countries, there is a network of stations authorised and trained by Eurovinil SPA.

Eurovinil has an advanced communication and servicing tracking system.

Both when the liferaft arrives at the company and when it is shipped, you will receive an SMS and a confirmation e-mail.

In addition, you can constantly track the status of the service via the dedicated website service.eurovinil.it.

Payment for the servicing will be made by cash on delivery, paying the courier directly when the liferaft is returned, by bank cheque payable to Eurovinil S.r.l.. If you collect the liferaft in-house, the available payment methods are:

  • Cash
  • Bank cheque payable to Eurovinil S.r.l.
  • Visa or Mastercard credit card
